A major ten-year study of 100,000 women has concluded neither induced nor spontaneous abortion was associated with the incidence of breast cancer. The research published in the US Archives of Internal Medicine, was conducted by researchers affiliated with the Harvard Medical School and the Harvard School of Public Health. It provides further evidence that, contrary to anti-choice propaganda, abortions, whether induced or spontaneous, do not affect the risk of developing breast cancer.
