The vote in Parliament on 20th May was a huge victory for the pro-choice movement. Abortion Rights' campaigning with thousands of supporters had a direct impact on the outcome and high profile campaigning to defend and extend women's abortion rights remains important.
The additional campaigning now required through the summer and autumn will require extra funding. Women are relying on us — will you help? Abortion Rights is a grassroots membership-based democratic campaign without any government or church funding! If you haven’t already, now is the time to join as an individual member or to affiliate your organisation, student group or trade union branch. Your support will make a real difference to what we are able to achieve over the next critical months.
