Scotland & Devolution: A Summary from Abortion Rights Committee Scotland

Since the Scottish Independence referendum on 18th September 2014, talks have continued on devolving further powers to Scotland, including abortion law.

Scottish members will be keen to know what the continuing Smith Commission processes may mean for abortion provision in Scotland.

In February 2015 Ann Henderson, member of the Abortion Rights Executive Committee and of the Abortion Rights Committee Scotland, created a summary of the current situation that members will find useful.
