An amendment seeking to devolve abortion law to Scotland has been lodged in Parliament by anti-abortion MPs this week.
The Pro Life All-Party Parliamentary Group seek to amend the Scotland Bill to remove abortion from the list of powers that would remain reserved to Westminster.
The Scotland Bill, concerned with transferring a number of important and complex powers to Scotland including vast areas of financial power such as income tax and VAT, is scheduled for debate in parliament on Mon 7 July 2015.
